Chris Thorne – Lead/Senior Service designer and User Experience designer

I am a skilled Lead or Senior Service Designer, Product Designer and UX designer.

My experience includes 8 years applying GOV UK and NHS design patterns, and prior to contracting, 10 years in the BBC.

My recent experience includes leading service design transformation work for Companies House – developing 10 new services and operational workflows for 1700 staff, and leading the modernising of service workflows and systems, with 400 ACAS staff, reducing admin, applying GOV UK Design patterns and helping improve the user and staff experience for a service based on Microsoft Dynamics.

I am skilled at creating service blueprints, wireframes, user flows, conducting user research, and prototyping, developing target operating models and change management. I often use Agile, Lean, Kanban and Scrum approaches, and work within multidisciplinary teams.
